College Hoops 25-26 *** The Year of Purdue ? ***

He had some bad luck with injuries and got kicked off the team before his senior year for gambling. Disappeared for awhile in Venezuela and Utah.
Yeah I remember him catching some crazy charges at one point.

Kicking myself for not taking the Kent St ML and just taking the points. It was +160 or something like that. Heels up soon! LFG!

How 'bout those Tarheels, fellas? They belong. I have another live dog for you guys. Mt. Saint Marys Vs. American. They are at +2.5 which is a nice little cushion. I might sprinkle some on the ML at +120. I also like Dayton over FAU as slight dogs at a -105 ML. I can't wait for the Xavier-Texas game, but I'm not touching that one. Anybody here taking a side?

Thats when I first became a Gonzaga fan

I knew I hated you even back then

<lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>
That was UConn’s first natty, and I took note of Gonzaga as well, because their come up reminded me of the way UConn did in the early 90’s. I legit said to myself they were gonna become big time after that tourney. And when you look at the numbers, with exception of the 2019-20 Covid year, they have been in every single Natty Tournament since 99. UConn certainly hasn’t had a run like that. I really hope Coach Few gets a ship before he retires. Like Calhoun, he’s loyal as fuck, and probably had multiple offers to leave his Gonzaga for bigger schools.
Some good early basketball being played in the NIT right now
Ya’ll remember when the NIT was THEE tournament to play in? It was March Madness level at one point back in the day. Shame that schools treat it as a consolation prize. Even the preseason NIT is a shell of what it used to be.

Gonzaga's coach took the Minnesota job that summer where he'd only make the NCAAT once in 8 seasons. D'oh!

I still can’t decide which was more embarrassing as a UConn fan.

Losing to 11th seed George Mason in the Elite 8, or 13th seed San Diego in the first round?

I know this was a rhetorical question, but I would say losing in the elite 8. Getting bounced by a surprise team in the opening round happens. Nobody snuck up on them when they played George Mason. My $0.02.
