I cannot go to a doctor at the moment, so I'll try here for now.

Looking for some advice to strengthen, stretch, or do whatever it takes to get my hip back to normal so I can start MuayThai again. When boxing only, it's fine.

The pain is in my rip hip, just below the waist.
Generally when I kick with my left roundhouse, especially doing 10 kick drills, it starts to heat up, and then will be bad for days.
Bad like just standing in the shower on one leg it can hurt, or even driving or sleeping it can be bad. Sitting in a chair all day at work probably makes it worse, as it makes my lower back tight.
My buddy that I workout with doesn't have the exact problem, but also gets sore when doing situps from a declined position like this video shows: ‪Decline Sit Ups‬‏ - YouTube

To find the pain, I lift my right leg straight up (like I'm going knee to chest), most pronounced when it's above a 90 degree angle. Doing a workout like the following video would bring the pain: ‪Hip Flexor Training Video Clip‬‏ - YouTube

Sometimes it's just fine and usually doesn't affect deadlifting, squats or anything.

If you guys have video's to suggest, please send 'em over.
Thank you in advance.

I think you are experiencing EXACTLY what I was going through when i did muay thai for a few weeks. I eventually decided to stop class because they had this hard wooden floor that would just fuck up my feet, which would fuck up my boxing training on other days.

But anyways, the pain should eventually go away. Just stretch more (like trying to touch the floor with your knees straight stretch) and various other stretches you can find online that involve the hip joints somehow. The pain is from the new movement of doing leg kicks, which your body isn't used to. You need to stretch a lot, everyday, if you want to improve in muay thai.

Edit: A good stretch that I found, was when you sit down on a chair, put your the ankle of your right leg on the thigh of you left leg and lean forward/downwards. This should stretch the hip/top glutes muscles.

I was going to guess tight hip flexors, but you said it doesnt affect your squats where as tight hip flexors would noticeably affect your squats. Do you think you pulled a muscle at all?

I guess it's possible... but I have no idea what the fuck happened to my hips.
I'm assuming I do have tight hip flexors and stretching them out does help a little.
Stretching my lower back or getting massaged there helps some too.

I've been having this problem for 3 years now, and done martial arts off an on for 15 years. I don't think it's from a new movement. I haven't done any kicking whatsoever in the past few months, and it's easily as bad.
When I wake board, it's the worst. When I jump, I lift up my legs to grab the board and such and last time I went I was sore for a week... well more sore than usual anyway.
