I cannot go to a doctor at the moment, so I'll try here for now.
Looking for some advice to strengthen, stretch, or do whatever it takes to get my hip back to normal so I can start MuayThai again. When boxing only, it's fine.
The pain is in my rip hip, just below the waist.
Generally when I kick with my left roundhouse, especially doing 10 kick drills, it starts to heat up, and then will be bad for days.
Bad like just standing in the shower on one leg it can hurt, or even driving or sleeping it can be bad. Sitting in a chair all day at work probably makes it worse, as it makes my lower back tight.
My buddy that I workout with doesn't have the exact problem, but also gets sore when doing situps from a declined position like this video shows: ‪Decline Sit Ups‬‏ - YouTube
To find the pain, I lift my right leg straight up (like I'm going knee to chest), most pronounced when it's above a 90 degree angle. Doing a workout like the following video would bring the pain: ‪Hip Flexor Training Video Clip‬‏ - YouTube
Sometimes it's just fine and usually doesn't affect deadlifting, squats or anything.
If you guys have video's to suggest, please send 'em over.
Thank you in advance.
