PlayStation Helldivers II: Galactic Emergency Invasion is LIVE

Very cool. In both film and gaming, I love plot twists on perspective like this; makes you think.
Wasn't exactly a plot twist for me- I knew all along. Check page 11
What do you mean?

The Helldivers are invading other planets bringing their fascist agenda to living beings minding their own business. The Helldivers ARE the aliens.

I got Helldivers 2 and a headset. I need to learn how to play the game

Oh man. It's not as popular as it was. They haven't added anything new to keep max ranked players around. You'll still always find a game. Very few verbally communicate. Usually just dropping a marker in the map so everyone knows where to head.

I'm still having fun but I'm not max ranked plus I'm not above super repetitive games.

For democracy!

I bought the game because of the hype. I played it like 15-20 minutes. I couldn't figure out the first mission. It said to upload something somewhere. It showed me on the map where the data was, I grabbed it, then it wouldn't tell me where to go to upload it.

And people say FromSoft games are hard.. Most of the times the menus and and all the other stuff not even related to gameplay is too hard and complicated for me in all the other games.

Hardest game I played was Dying Light. I couldn't get past the tutorial when it turned night time.

I've been playing for months and it took me longer than it should have to see in the map where to bring it. When you hover over the correct icon in the mini map it says "upload data" something. I just let others do it. It's way less fun if you are playing by yourself. Always find a random squad.

One actual hard puzzle is the pipe alignment system. I've only came across it a few times.

Anyone jumping back on this with the new update? Would love to squad up with some of you.

Share some info on the update, bud; would be cool to see what additions A/head is bringing to the title.

New bugs and robots. Some of the old ones have new moves. New guns and mission types. Couple of new strategems

It was fun for a month after release, had no interest to play it again since. Kinda weird that there is almost no "service" in a "game as a service".

Exact same, while it's fun I've lost interest. Might check out the Starship Troopers attempt to see what it brings.

Plus without a trusted crew then the game just isn't fun and my work schedule has me playing solo or with random people.
