Been reading folks are leaving their PC’s and PS5’s constantly logged into the servers for days so they keep their spot.
On one hand that’s dedication to democracy, on the other, log the fuck out , democracy needs to be shared.

To be fair I place the blame on the devs more than anything. I get they weren't prepared but it's been 11 days now. Get more servers up and running. Maybe I'm underestimating what it takes to do that but I don't know.

I've been playing it, really fun game. still early on. I think it get's much better when you unlock more and more stuff and play at the harder difficulties with the whole squad.

Tested the staying in-game shit earlier as I had to run a quick errand.
After taking 20 minutes or so to get in the game, I played a solo mission, because matchmaking is busted like normal, then I put my console to sleep.
Woke it up and I'm still in the game.
Why the devs didn't already have an afk/kick feature in the game leaves me flabbergasted. Guess they were too focused on making a fun ass game and not the framework or any other mechanical type things.

Wow that's surprising. I can't rememeber the last time I played an online game like this and they let you stayed logged in. They almost all log you out after no activity.

I stayed waiting for the server to allow me in, managed to enter after about 12 minutes. I'm playing Duo's with a buddy of mine and we just unlocked challenging difficulty level. before I leave I noticed the reward for achieving the major order 12,500 "R" aside from the R you get just by winning the mission!

Just unlocked extreme last night, been farming the lower levels for the last couple days when/if I can get on. Also doing some of the challenges that cause a little too much chaos with squads, like the 100 enemies with fire damage. Running around with a flamethrower is a bit easier solo, it's really easy to ignite squadmates that spaz around.
Trying to get to the pink samples difficulty.
Finally ran into a Bile Titan and took that big sumbitch down, playing solo. Hoping this patch that's supposed to drop tomorrow truly fixes some of these issues. Ready for extreme.

I'm not a massive gamer but every few years there is a game that I get really addicted to and I've got a feeling this is the latest one. Looks incredible, can't wait to play it.

Yeah also very surprised they don't boot afks.
My buddy and I bought this game late last night for PC. Got the black screen upon startup and it took us a good 40 mins to figure out how to fix it. Got to finish the training part before bedtime. Will try to really test it out tonight. Should be fun.

They released a patch for that black screen today. I had the same issue bought it on steam to play with some friends.

That's good to hear. Bought it on a whim a few days ago while on vacation and got the black screen. Did a bit of troubleshooting for the issue, but was playing on my laptop so figured I would just wait until I got home to play on my PC. Will fire it up in the morning.

U can take the drop ships down with the rocket launcher before they drop all the robots

Can't even play the game I just get a message that servers are at capacity and it keeps trying to get in. I don't have time for that. I'll keep it in my library for now but I'm refunding it before the 2 week period is up if it doesn't get fixed.

God damn do I have a terrible habit of reloading after every encounter no matter how small.
Kill a bug using 2 rounds, better reload. Getting absolutely punished for that habit and trying to break it. Constantly low on ammo because of it.
