Yeah if you aren’t in serious training when you are 18 years old that is never happening. This is actually kind of weird on the surface tbh. You don’t go from media personality to world class swimmer at whatever her age is (just guessing late 20s-early 30s). No matter how fit you appear. That’s insane and I’m not sure I buy it so I can’t really give her much credit for an impossible fantasy.

Was she ever nationally ranked in swimming? Unless she’s aiming for “Master’s Sports” which are I believe are at least 35 years old for some sports. I just don’t see this as being realistic.
