He’s always been a tough guy grinder. I feel like he has always overcome obstacles and injuries his whole career that it’s very hard for him to recognize that these things take it out of you, and after a certain point you don’t come back the same.
Same goes with Ferguson imo. They are just mentally strong to the point of delusion
