Has a fighter ever complained about a late stoppage?

I know fighters complain about an early stoppage because they feel like they can go on. But has there been a fighter who got angry at a ref for not stopping the fight earlier and because they took too much damage?

Not that I know of, but then again...they would have tapped, verbally quit, or rolled up in a ball to give up if they wanted it to stop

Bork was mad Mazzagatti didn't save him from Mur fast enough

True but I assume they would feel too proud to complain but then again fighters come in all shapes and personalities.

Sonnen said when he retired against fedor in the poat fight interview he wished the referee had stoped the fight earlier, but he didn't say anything to the ref.

Edit: my bad it was against lyoto

I remember Roy Nelson push-kicked McCarthy in the Bigfoot fight because he thought the stoppage was too late. He got in a lot of shit for it but honestly I don't really blame him. Dude was mad because the ref was essentially forcing him to keep delivering punishment to a friend who was done

Edit:

He talks about the stoppage at 1:45

One of the many blessings of CTE is the ability to forget and forgive... well, to forget anyhow

Same with Jacare over Weidman, but I think TS was talking about a LOSING fighter complaining about the fight being stopped too late.
