The most difficult fight for Jones at heavyweight has got to be Curtis Blaydes?

Better wrestling?

More knockout power?

Stronger?

Better point fighter?

Equally effective use of elbows?

Similar reach?

Much younger?

The only advantage Jones seemingly would have is cardio, which is obviously a big one but that would only come into play in a five rounder and even then if Jon is dropping the first few rounds its gonna be close? Blaydes cardio has also improved substantially since we saw him gassing in his first UFC fight.

That is if Blaydes doesnt knock Jones out which he seemingly has the power to do.

Gane bodies Bones

far better standup, more power, much better technique, better kicking game, much better feinting game. Very good clinch and infighting game which is Bones only real strength standing his boxing is ass. Much better footwork, really good cardio

and Gane can roll and gurapple himself so he will cancel that out

Plus just as big if not more so and only a couple inches less reach.

Perhaps Econoreem or whatever we are calling him now.

Ngannou, Stipe, Gane, Pavlovich, Volkov.

If Gane beats Jairzinho and Blaydes wins his matchup with Lewis I can see them fighting for effectively the first title shot post Jones/Winner of Ngannou/Miocic

Gane can finish Jones, but I can see Blaydes being equally if not more of a problem for Jon when it comes to point-fighting since that is how Jon has won his last two fights despite looking out of his element at times.

Jones got the better of Cormier in most of the wrestling exchanges, don’t know that there will be that many HWs that can out wrestle a 240ish lb Jones. I see more of a rangy power striker like Ngannou causing Jon some trouble.

Reem!

stronger, long, violent finisher, and has beaten up and hurt jones in training before.

My reaction when Derrick Lewis is the one that gives Jones his first true loss.
