Happy 96th Birthday Kirk Douglas!

It's truly a milestone for this man to have lived such a long and prosperous life. I consider him one of my favorite actors to watch and a truly classy and inspirational individual as well.

Any other Kirk Douglas fans here? What are your favorite performances? I really loved him in Champion and especially Ace in the Hole, but he's had many other great roles - infact I don't ever remember watching a horrible movie with Kirk Douglas in it. They sure don't em like they used to anymore.

The Bad and the Beautiful is by far his best performance, which speaks volumes as to its greatness considering how many great performances are on his resume. The most recent one I've come across was in Greedy, his last performance before his stroke and one of his best and funniest, as well
