We are just a week away from the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. As we all know this is the event where we see new signees, legends, call ups, celebrities, and people returning from injury.
This year being in Saudi Arabia I think the true surprises will be harder to pull off. Not super easy to sneak someone into a country. So here are who I think could be showing up, and who I think will be showing up.
Men:
Chris Jericho - This is the one I think everyone had on their bingo card at the start of the year. Thing is, he's still listed as of this post as being on the AEW roster and they usually remove people right away. Add in the Fozzy tour and I really don't see this happening.
Oba Femi - He's going to be in it. And should win IMNSHO.
Royce Keys FNA Powerhouse Hobbs - All signs are he's inked his WWE deal, but will this be his debut??? Personally, I hope it isn't since it might clash with the Oba main roster "debut". Let him debut in NXT next week as a heater for Ricky Saints.
Speaking of Mr Saints - I don't see it. I think him getting from Saudi back to Florida in time for the NXT title match would be pushing it.
Ethan Page - I think he shows up here. It's time for his call up and this would be a good spot to put him in.
Joe Hendry - I'm 50/50 here. With odds of him being in the NXT title match I can see the same logistics issue as Saints. But if you say his name...
Evil - A late possibility with his NJPW contract ending the end of January would they let him go a day early to appear? Unlikely.
TNA - Just putting all of them here with only Leon Slater and maybe someone like Dolph Ziggler or one of the Hardys.
Chad Gable - They have the chance to do something epic here. Chad enters at #7 and Ludvig Kaiser at #9. Kaiser tosses Chad, only for the original El Grande Americano to enter at #14 and tosses Kaiser, for current El Grande Americano to enter at #17 and have them eliminate each other! BOOK IT HHH!!! Unlikely scenario, but I do see Chad returning here.
Seth Rollins - Doubt. I think his injury keeps him out until after Mania.
KO - Nope. I can dream though.
Sheamus - good chance he returns here from his injury.
Dirty Dom - I think he shows up here.
LA Knight - YEAH!
AAA - only guy who I could see showing up would be Mr Iguana.
Ishowspeed - I think he's a strong candidate to make another appearance in the Rumble. Would love to see Randy RKO him and Bron to spear him again.
Brock - How much money they throwing at him? I think he's showing up.
So for the men I will say for people not on the main roster - Oba, Page, Hendry, IshowSpeed, Mr Iguana, Slater. Returning from injury - Gable, Dom, Sheamus, LA KNIGHT YEAH!
Women:
AJ Lee - 50/50. I don't think this is a good spot for her since it's HIGHLY unlikely she'd win and then go after one of the two main titles. Her destiny is with Becky.
Trish Stratus - Yeah, she's a good bet.
Lita - Unlikely, and really not needed.
Naomi - Depending on when she got knocked up she would likely have just given birth or still pregnant. No chance.
Bianca - IF she is in it, she's winning. I just don't know if her finger is healed up yet.
Tiffany Stratton - Pretty sure she's a lock.
Jacy Jayne - I think she has a good chance to be in it.
Blake Monroe - Might be a nice introduction to the main roster.
Lola Vice - meh.
Sol & Zaria - Same as Jacy, a real good chance for one if not both. Would be nice to see Zaria get a little shine here.
AAA - Highly unlikely we see any of them.
TNA - Maybe the current champ who I don't even know who it is tbh.
Mandy Rose - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Paige - I think there's a shot at her showing up She's been training from what I've read.
So for the women I'll say Trish, Lita, Jacy, Sol, Zaria, Paige. For returning from injury - Tiff and Bianca.
