Hey Guys! It's time for another review. This time it's on Grill Guards Custom Mouth Guards. I've been in the market for a replacement mouth guard for my old Protech for a while now because my girlfriend's dog chewed the back end of it. But I haven't been able to find a place that fit my standard of quality, until I came across this sight by chance one day. I've been looking for a company that made realistic looking monster fangs. All the other companies Ive been coming across have painted on or printed fangs. None of them had the 3d look like I was looking for. I bought the GrillGuards Extreme Custom which is the highest level of protection they offer.

GrillGuards Mouthguards are made using the best mouthguard material available. We use both poly shok and EVA product to ensure the highest quality and best protection for athletes.
The GrillGuard Youth has one 3 mil layer. This provides just the right amount of protection for young athletes without it being to bulky.
The GrillGuard Advanced is made with one 4 mil layer and one 3mil layer. This provides advance protection for moderate to heavy contact sports and still enables an athlete to communicate and breathe easy.
The GrillGuard Extreme is made with two 3 mil layers and an extra 2 mil layer for the front of the teeth providing the ultimate protection for athletes participating in Extreme Contact sports. This GrillGuard provides maximum protection while still maintaining comfort, ease of breathing and communication.
GrillGuards Custom Mouthguards far surpass regular boil and bite stock mouthguards in comfort, protection, fit and customization.
I'll start from the day that I put in the order. I was contemplating on whether to buy this or a some winning gloves for a few months after getting my tax return. I placed the order one night at like 2 am after coming back from a night on the town so I was kinda drunk. haha and decided "f*ck it," and just placed my order(stay away from your computer when you are drunk) drunk buying can be costly than drunk dialing. I got the Grill Guard Extreme with Fangs and Custom Logo which ended up being about $250 plus tax, shipping and handling. Order placed April 13th, received the impression kit 3 days later. I sent it back on the 20th, and received my mouth guard today which is May 2nd. So the turn around time was about 2 weeks like they said. Cyndi at GG is pretty good about replying to your emails the next day.
Now to the guard.
Design: I've always thought the fangs design looked sick, but I didn't want to get the vampire fangs like everyone else. So I asked them if they could do a monster style fangs guard with a US Flag on left side to represent my combat tour to Iraq with the US Army, and the South Korean flag on the right side to represent my heritage. The reason I chose grill guards was because they make the teeth and fangs look realistic. Unlike other companies where they look like sloppy decals. It came out just like I expected. The only down side is that there is a little air bubble where the top left corner above the American flag.
