Quick story to share about Sean O’Malley, the kind of thing that didn’t make my written story on him or the video feature we did ... but wanted to put it out. When I was in Arizona to see him, I was in his garage and noticed an entire shelf filled with boxes of Reebok shoes, but They were all kids sizes. I asked him, “Why do you have dozens of kids shoes?” He told me when Reebok signed a sponsorship deal with him, they gave him $10k to spend on whatever he wanted. He spent it all on kids shoes, and has been slowly giving them away to kids in need and Charities over the years. Sometimes you get little stories like this that don’t fit in traditional fight coverage but I thought this one was worth sharing.

And of course there was this story from last December:

Sean O'Malley placed 8th in a Fortnite tournament and donated all of his winnings ($27,500) to the charity Raising Special Kids.

O'Malley has made a total of $74,000 of disclosed pay in his two UFC fights.

An incredibly generous donation especially having not fought in 2019.

I'll be rooting for him tonight. Hope he can put on a show.

Well just earned a fan! Liked his style already but now much more. As someone who donated to helping feed children school lunches, mostly those below the poverty line, I appreciate anyone trying to impact the youth and help make the next generation better than the one before

Pretty hard not to like this kid.

I am really excited to have Sean back. I think this guy has some star potential.

Gets a lot of deserved shit for being shilled and overhyped, but class act doing shit like this at 25

Always nice to have a positive headline.

Would be a great thing if there were many more role models like him.

I think he makes a lot of money outside the Octagon

I remember seeing somewhere he makes $10k per month on his Twitch channel

I think he also has some fashion sponsorships as well

Still a really good guy though

A good charitable guy. It must be the Irish coming out in him. {<Mcgoat}

Professional fortnite player? Now I'm even more confident in my bet against him!

as much as i want to hate Sean, he does shit like this that makes it hard, not to mention him putting on exciting fights and comes across pretty genuine in his interviews

you got me sean. war suga

New ufc flavor of the month, ped sugarbaby

Why should he get the benefit of the doubt, does he deserve to be hyped up right now for his mma accomplishments?

O'Malley looked great tonight. Good win.

At it again with more charity work. He makes me cringe but i have tremendous respect for what he does.
