I'm looking at these photos thinking that the foot-in-cage ended the fight... what do you think? Can or should fighters appeal for this reason?

What was the ref looking at? Goltsov choked out Popov via triangle while using his toes in the cage for leverage... I'm being diplomatic, image shows it was half his foot.

That almighty crank he gave at around 2.17 in the 1st round could've submitted an elephant. Poor Popov didn't remember a thing.

If i we're Goltsov I'd cash in that cheque immediately

I don't think he has much chance against Frank but then again there aren't many options if Nemkov wants to leave.

I'd say he has a better chance than Renan, plus Francis is at the end of his career and Goltsov has looked amazing and has had some winning streaks.


He has a chance of beating Francis for one he has a better ground game is larger as well, on the feet I got Francis that factor always exists but on the ground I'd go with Goltsov for sure he is far a head of Francis and if you remember the Francis-Renan fight it seemed to me that Francis didn't want any part of the stand up and wanted to go to the ground I think this would be a mistake against Goltsov.


This will more than likely be Francis next opponent considering Goltsov just won the HW division, they shouldn't take too much time to make this fight.

Nemkov is really good and his performances in Bellator were amazing but that was lhw, I personally believe he would be at a disadvantage against Francis size wise and he isn't as good in the stand-up nor do I think he could take Francis down.
