Ticket was $35 and I had to buy it at a car dealership.

Venue hosts local college hockey games and various other community events.

The main event is a guy who got knocked out on DWCS rematching a guy he already beat by decision 5-6 years ago. It's a little hard to figure out who's on the undercard (Tapology doesn't know and the promotion's FB page doesn't really say.)

Should be a good time. Wish me luck, Sherbros.

The promotion's instagram page has the fight card (last names only) and where it's streaming on one of the more recent posts.

Thank God your first live event wasn't at the Apex

Curious on your thoughts after TS.

Even as a veteran combat sports fan, the sound was jarring my first time.

You can feel, how real it is, by the sound.

I wonder if Sam Hoger or Cody McKenzie will be there cornering guys.

Looks like they changed the main event or what Tapology has listed as the main event is actually the co-main.

Dude it should be fun. The guys in their first 3-5 fights ALWAYS bring it.
I remember I cornered a friend at some random ass warehouse 4 hours away in Petersburg, Virginia like…14 years ago. After he fought I don’t really remember how but we ended up sitting front seat next to the promoter of the show. A guy got headkicked literally right in front of us and fell flat on his face, we were splattered with blood lol 🤣 the promoter gave me a free Tapout shirt.

My first UFC event was Dustin vs Pettis, the Matt Browne vs Diego elbow KO also happened on that same night (which glitched out in the live broadcast so people watching tv only saw the replay)

My 2nd UFC event was Figure 8-0 vs Benevidaz for the Flyweight belt…I’ve fought at flyweight and I’ve always wanted to see a ufc title fight live so I HAD to go. Went rooting for Joe B and almost cried as he was knocked out after a headbutt. Paid like 300 dollars for…okay seats both times

Still though man have fun and enjoy yourself. Try not to scream so hard in the ear of whoever is sitting in front of you. I doubt you’ll forget your first live event.

Make sure you get on the big screen and make us Sherdoggers proud!

Okay I got here a few minutes late, missed the first round of the first bout. I thought the whole card was MMA but these guys are boxing with big gloves. 3 minute rounds.

4 seconds left in the third round, one guy knocked the other out with a back of the head shot.

Was it a Chevy dealership?

My first friend I ever met on the school bus used to rant and rave about how Chevy was in fact like a rock because it’s found often on the side of the road unable to move under its own power.

His father’s ram1500’s transmission went out while our 85 300 6 f150 purred along without a heater core or any of the convenient things <lol>

Okay 8 fights in (5 MMA bouts, 3 boxing) and I just saw something I don't think I've ever seen before: a fight getting stopped due to unanswered leg kicks to a fighter lying on his back from a standing opponent.

Not sure if the leg kicks were actually the problem but they tended to the losing fighter for several minutes before helping him up and out of the cage.
