I recently went to gnc to pick up some protein and a multi-vitimin to help me boost my training. I was thinking of getting MegaMen Sport until the sales person there suggested that I pick up MegaMen Performance & Vitality because Sport is catered to people just want to lose weight but Performance and Vitality has a thermal agent to it that promotes fat loss without losing muscle weight. I took a brief look at it and went with what the sales person suggested (stupid move IMO). I purchased the product and brought it home. I decided to take a second look at it and it seems like they product is catered to men who want to just have better sexual/overall health. As a young male (23), I don't want these pills to mess with my sexual health in the long run. To give you a better idea of what the product provides, here is a link to the product so you can see what I mean:

Still haven't opened them and don't know if I'm going to bring them back. I'd like to get some opinions due to the fact I don't know muh about these kinds of supplements.

Thanks,

Enzo

They are separated out, so you can decide what to take/not take. The Staminol is the sexual performance pill, it is the only thing that may potentially make you feel bad, won't hurt your future hormonal levels per sey, but has been known to produce headaches/anxiety in a small number of people.

Those vitamins have cheap/ineffective ingredients.

You can tell the quality of a multi by basically 2 ingredients.

magnesium: magnesium oxide is the cheap/bad one. Yours has it.

b12: Cyanocobalamin. again, cheap and bad. Yours has it.

Those 2 ingredients right there are indicators of the vitamin's quality. GNC vitamins are also overpriced. You're generally not gonna find a good multi at any store you walk into, like GNC. You're gonna have to order them online. They aren't terrible, but they are mid grade at best. You can get a better multi for cheaper.

Get the Source Naturals Life Force Multiple. It's a no brainer, they are the absolute best vitamin for the price. They are very popular on the body building forum too. Source Naturals get a scientific score of 93%. Your GNC's get a score of 23%. Using this methodology:

The author of the Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements, Lyle MacWilliam, is a respected biochemist and a former member of Canadian Parliament. He was commissioned by the Canadian Minister of Health to develop a new regulatory framework to ensure people have access to safe, effective, high quality nutritional products. This guide is the culmination of over six years of research and analysis in this area.

In this comparative study, Mr. MacWilliam identified over 1000 multivitamin formulas, which were available on the market in the United States and Canada. He then shortlisted 510 of these products for further analysis and comparison.

Fourteen criteria were used to compare the short-listed 510 multivitamin products. The development of each criterion was based on scientific evidence available in the latest published medical literature. The 14 comparison criteria are as follows:
1. Completeness
2. Potency
3. Bioavailability
4. Bioactivity of Vitamin E
5. Cardiac Health Triad
6. Homocysteine Reduction Triad
7. Bone Health Complex
8. Antioxidant Triad
9. Glutathione Support
10. Metabolic Support
11. Bioflavonoid Profile
12. Phenolic Compound Profile
13. Lipotropic Factors
14. Potential Toxicities

After Mr. MacWilliam assessed all 510 products he assigned each of them a score from 1% to 100%, 100% being the highest. The author believed that a score of 80% and above was commendable. Surprisingly only 8 out of the 510 products were able to surpass this benchmark.

So, yours are in the 20s and Source Naturals are in the 90s.
