A lot of people might not know this but Glenn Danzig was asked to audition / screen test as Wolverine for the first X-Men movie.

He's 5'3" or 5'4" or something so they were trying to stay faithful to the comic books. Probably wouldn't have beaten out Hugh Jackman for the role but what do you think of the idea.

I thought Jackman was great. I don't see how he could have topped him.

Yeah Jackman is a very good actor and Danzig isn't really an actor at all. But it could have been interesting. First time I saw X-Men though I walked out saying Jackman is about to become a household name.

Yeah, I also remember when people wanted Henry Rollins for the role of Punisher. He's a decent actor too, although ultimately he would have been undersized (Jon was too)

About Danzig, yeah, his adamantium skeleton apparently didn't work well this one time:

Shame that North side Kings became known for that rather then their music. That had a few great albums. His book “never punch a rock star” is pretty good to be fair

Yeah Rollins was good and carried a whole movie in He Never Died.

I dont really like it cos you cant see past the fact that its fuckin Danzig

always thought Hugh Jackman would have made a great Batman/Bruce Wayne

Still would

They can use harry potter. He grew up and got a beard. He is quite short judging by this photo. He just needs to bulk up.

It doesn't really matter. People bitched about Hugh Jackman's height at first, but practically the complaint became non-existent by X-men: DoFP. As long as we get a good actor who can put on decent muscle and mainly get that brawny cranky personality down.

Hardy's a manlet and a decent actor.

Is that a pun? Hugh being 6'3" and Danzing 5'3"...

He doesn't have the jawline for a bat cowl. But, as an actor, he's great. Would've brought the intensity and nailed the billionaire playboy side of Wayne.

I do remember hearing about that. Reminds me of when triple H was in talks to play thor.
