glandular fever /mono

Has anyone had glandular fever-i think you call it mono in the states?
what were your symptoms and how long did it last?
what did you do to get better and how long after you recover can you train?

Anyone have any lasting effects?

i have had it for almost 2weeks and an still in bed! my fever is down and the huge ass swollen lymph node on my nexk is almost gone. just very tired and itchy all over.

Heard it's crazy contagious, had "one of the worst cases" the doc I went to had seen while I was in high school.

Kept me out for roughly 2 weeks, didn't seem so bad sleeping and playing video games all day.

A friend had it years prior and was out of school maybe a couple months it seemed.. Lost a loooot of weight and didn't say too many positive things about it.

well i have already had it for two weeks and seem to be getting better. just very tired. the worst part was not knowing what i had for the first week cause it hadnt yet shown on blood tests

the only people i have been kissing are my wife and two small kids.
