I remember this. Shit was so fake and set up. The finale had the WORSE muay thai fighters they could find as opponents. Where I'm from there called "chip shop" Thai's. Basically people that run restaurants or have full time jobs and then fight part time. Miriam Nakamoto was a fucking beatdown.

This show is in part how I discovered MMA back in 2008. I was a Muay Thai/Carano fan and she had transitioned to MMA and I followed her fights. Ironically, I was only interested in Carano, I did not follow WMMA beyond Carano, and was only vaguely familiar with the UFC at the time.

Brandon Vera's wife was also on that show, and she spoke about Brandon being a UFC fighter. One night while searching for some fight action I had heard that Brandon Vera was fighting on a Spike televised Fight Night card, so I tuned in to see his fight, but ended up falling big for Anderson Silva who smashed James Irvin on that card .. been an MMA fan ever since.

I miss UFC on Spike and all the reloaded episodes that allowed me to catch fights going back to 2006.

The final fights were total mismatches as thai fighters looked several weight classes smaller.
