Does anybody have experience getting involved in amateur bouts / competitions in the UK? I'm looking to enter as an independent, not sure where to look or who to talk to.

Thanks

Perhaps I should also mention that I've been training a few years now and I had a full rules fight in Thailand. Living in Newcastle at the minute but info from Londoners would be very useful too. Thanks again

Nobody will let u enter ''as an independent''. You should have a gym behind you..a trainer entering you at the correct level skillwise, and vouch for the fact you are aware of the rules and regulations and taking responsability for your safety and well being. He should be able to control you in case you misbehave our go berserk, and trow the towel if need be.

A bit of topic because I can't start a thread, but does anyone know any good Amateur Kickboxing Organisations that hold fights around the London and Essex area any help given would be appreciated.
