The Datsusara Light Battlepack is truly fantastic and will likely be the last bag that I ever purchase. Should you ever be in the market for a new gear bag, I highly recommend that you look into the Datsusara Light Battlepack.

Click here for the full review... to read about how I fit two gis into it, why I chose Datsusara, why their owner is pretty cool (and posts here on Sherdog), and for full specs on the Datsusara light Battlepack.

From your site:

"The full battlepack would be a bit more than I needed because I don’t carry boxing gloves or mma gear along with my gi any more. If you need to carry both sets at the same time, I suggest you go with the light battlepack."

Good review, I also love my LBP.

If Batman did BJJ, he'd carry his gear in this bag :D

I do muay thai AND BJJ on the same days some times. Will the LBP be big enough? or was that a typo?

Good cuz I've seen the reg BP in person and its HUGE! When I wore it, I looked like I was wearing a turtle shell on my back. The LBP looks like the perfect size for me based on the pics. I may have to order one now.

If I was smarter, I would include a picture of me wearing it. Looks like a normal size backpack.

And that was a typo. I fixed it for the future.

Read the review a few days back and liked it. Seriously considering buying this bag as I have a large gym bag which is excellent but I'd like something a bit smaller for being out and about.

It's awesome for day-to-day and carries way easier than a gym bag. That was the seller for me. And it'll last forever.

I bought this bag about 1 1/2 months ago and I love it. I will say if you are a A4 or bigger and carry anything more than you gi and some tape and water bottles you might want to go for the BP. I shoved a A4 and an A3 in mine and barely got it zipped. But for what I do I love it, straight BJJ no stirking so I dont need the space to carry the guards and gloves and stuff. On the plus side this bag just plain looks cool, on the downside it will make your back sweat like a stuck pig bleeds but I havent had a pack that did not.

I haven't had the overly sweaty back yet, but then again, I haven't worn it a lot in hot weather yet. I'll have to update it after this summer.

Headgear and gloves will definitely fit, but if you're going for any more than that, I'd say grab the full battlepack.
