See heres part of the reason I'm not big on Nash having two MVP's..

If i lined up Jason Kidd, Gary Payton and Steve Nash and you had to take one......is Nash not number 3? He is to me easily

edit: My rankings
1) Payton
2) Kidd
3) Nash

GP and Kidd both played defense.

Payton is easily my #1. Personally always thought Kidd was a little overrated. At absolute peak, I think I'd take Nash, but Kidd for career no doubt. Kidd did play defense, but he wasn't great at it.

Kidds free throw bullshit is enough to make me hate any player.

Gary Payton had a legendary career. IMO Jason Kidd and Steve Nash were very good in their hey day but a step behind Payton.

Kids couldn't drop a ball in an ocean from more than 10'.

GP was past his prime when Nash got his MVPs and was also offensively challenged relative to Steve-o.

Nash lead the league in assists, a team to great successes, and was a marksman.

Payton

Kidd
Nash

PG?

Damn all those cats would be fucked up by Earvin Johnson.

overall, i got
1-payton
2-kidd
3-nash

at his absolute prime for 2-3 years, i might take nash over the other 2 guys prime though.

False dichotomies. False dichotomies, everywhere, I say.

I dunno about Kidd. He played good team defense, especially when there was no more illegal defense. However, when illegal defense still existed, I remember teams isolate players whoever Jkidd's defending, because he usually gets left behind during iso play.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. What does individual mvp have to do with your arbitrary rankings?

As a pure pg I'll probably go with Nash.

His ability to shoot/score n do it efficiently is 2nd to none.

Payton was better overall player, but I don't think he was as good pg as other 2.
