He basically had all his pre-UFC bouts and UFC debut in 4 months (2008). Crazy stat.

After his UFC debut, he went on and dominated TUF veteran, Stephan Bonnar, 5 months later in his 2nd UFC bout.

Just remembering the 'Bones' Jones that everyone loved.

Young Johnny Bones was truly a marvel to behold. He did things in there as a kid with no experience that many lifelong martial artists could only dream of. Those of us who witnessed that rise first hand are truly lucky.

Unfortunately he's looked like a shell of his former self his last few fights. Can only hope that he'll find that motivation again and give us a few vintage Jon Jones performance before he hangs up the gloves.

Went from being Holland to Cain. Only fought once in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020

Well I can see the Cain comparison considering inactivity. The reasons though of why they haven't been active were not comparable.

Before he was a steroid abusing preg women hit and running gentleman.

Get you some fans Jon!

He made his UFC debut at UFC 87 in 2008.

Now don't you feel old.

He could've just made his professional debut in the UFC like Amir Sadollah.

And the guy is arguably 5-1 in the last 7 years... (yeah he lost that fight)

that was also a elbow to the back of the head that jon should been dqed for. cause the online mob woiuld of said it the other way around if jon got knocked out cause of that.

when you a unknown and prelim fighter you can fight more often than the top ranked guys that isnt breaking news.

It's called being a champ and wiping out of all competition. Lack of contenders equal lack of championship matches. IDC was anyone says but Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos had no business fighting for the 205 title regardless of how the fights actually went.

And suspensions.

It also makes me hate the UFC even more:

The most physically well and gifted guys are often young and game and we are often robbed of seeing them because of who and how gets picked for a big league push.
Especially lifelong grapplers/wrestlers/combat sports vets.

No fighter on steroids or off steroids has a comparable resume

Baseball and the combat sports seem to be the only places where fans chit on the greatest evers for using PEDs.

The NFL busts guys left and right, suspends them for 3 games and everyone moves on.

The NBA never busts anyone.

Do guys even PED in the NHL?

But we all hate Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGuire and Jon Jones...
