Frankie Edgar fighting in his 40’s

Still have him as LW GOAT.

The 2nd and 3rd of the Gray trilogy was insanity.

Still pretty sure it's the only round I've ever given a 10-7 (fight II round 1).

An atg, but the last few years of his career were hard to watch.

Just wanted to bring up that it is amazing how this dude fought in the lower weight classes until his 40’s. Usually speed is first to go but he hung around till he was 41.

Sad that UFC didn't have FW or BW until halfway through his career. He shouldn't have been fighting at LW

I remember Frankie had never been finished until the Ortega fight. It was a quick downturn after that. Most of his skills were still there but the chin and durability were gone. Even through his final fights he did well for a while, then he'd get clipped and finished. It's still amazing to think he beat BJ twice. He's even smaller than listed I think as well. He's definitely not really 5'6 I don't think, the fact that he was so successful at LW is amazing. He's as natural a BW as there ever has been.

If he had quit at 39 he'd have retired on a win instead of a 3 fight KO loss streak.

ufc didnt give him the paddy treatment

What? I thought he retired ages ago?

He still fighting?
