Francis Carmont is no longer part of the UFC roster. | Dave Mandel/Sherdog.com

After opening his Ultimate Fighting Championship stint with six consecutive victories, Francis Carmont has been released from the promotion following three straight losses.

The middleweight fighter announced the news via Facebook on Wednesday. While this is an obvious roadblock in the Tristar Gym product

Still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact he won six straight fights in the UFC.

KSW probably. but theres a solid chance he goes to wsof. I don't think One would want him although would be a good name for Leandro

WSOF, they like signing good fighters who got cut early for being too boring.

He was lucky enough not to get hit, and he committed to the highest % TDs he could.. Like GSP. But not on that level.

I'm not really hyped to see the guy in any of the other orgs right now. I would to see him in M1 actually, because a lot of those 15-7 Russian guys that have been fighting other tough Russians would probably blow his doors off. That would be entertaining.

there are very good MWs in other orgs as champs or contenders ... Slava, Branch, Okami, Khalidov, Materla, Hermansson, Shlemenko, Ataides, ...

even in FFC it should be interesting to c him vs. Sakara

I think I'd like to see him enter WSOF. Okami, Branch are there. A lot of Bellator's guys are striking based. Would be lame to see him wrestle his way through Storm and shit.

I wanna see him in GLORY.

He looks like a badass kickboxer ala Tong Po.

Why? The level of fighters in the UFC is quite diverse nowadays, he isn't a bad fighter, and is quite athletic to boot. He just had some problems putting it all together to reach the top. If he does that, he probably could be a contender.

It's not like the UFC was matching him up with killers right off the bat.

He is good enough to be top contender in any org out of UFC, thats for sure.
Bellator is so shallow at MW but would be great test for Halsey.
One FC has pretty much nothing. Leandro-Carmont is meh
KSW and WSOF are the most interesting options, but Im not sure about WSOF paying what he demand. Branch and Okami probably have a good salary for WSOF

I honestly don't want to see him in any of the big orgs.

Then you are pretty dumb.
If you match Carmont with an average fghter he also can be ecxiting because he doenst need to be conservative, as he was.
Most of those guys that you think are exciting when you watch them fighting average competition would not be that exciting fighting the top guys, they would be conservatve or just they would be outclassed
