NFL Is the NFL Rigged? ( Sir Elzio Mega Discussion )

You young cats are easily surprised. Been watching since 1938. Seen it all. 1966 was a weird one. Nothing too crazy this year ~~~

Actually 1958 the first NFL game on TV that I remember, my first NFL WOW was this cat.......

In the video they mention how he never had a 1000 yard season, the reason for that was he shared carries with stud fullback Rick Casares the first of the Miami backs,

Galimore and WR Bo Farrington were killed in a car wreck, bummer.

Alabama will avenge the loss to Oklahoma
Oregon will crush James Madison who has no business being at the dance.

The other two still a, hmmmmm?

I confess I didn't expect the Niners to be one win away from having the NFC Number One Seed this quickly. And doing it without key players makes it even more......I'll be damn.

What can we say about Brock Purdy, the guy simply has....IT. What a great leader.

Christian McCaffery is the best RB weapon in the NFL and will soon become the first to have that 1000/1000 season twice. Another first for the Niners.

Bummer no Bosa or Warner, but can't help but think how dominate the Niners would have been with them.

Very reaistic to think this team is Superbowl bound.

What's sad is it feels like they're good enough to win a playoff game, maybe even make it back to the Superbowl again, but then lose again.

Crazy they could stay home through the playoffs and close it out at home as well

Obviously missing Bosa and Warner is huge, we don't have the pass rush and that sucks.

If they can get by the NFC I do think they can beat any AFC team.

There have been some actual track sprinters play QB just not at the pro football level. This will be about that pro level with this one exception.

Bears WR Curtis Conway was a HS QB and a California State 100m champion, ran a 10.2 at USC, there is where he switced to WR.

Ok pro QB's.

All Time Pro QB 100m

lane

1.Michael Vick Falcons
2.Lamar Jackson Ravens
3.Caleb Wiliams Bears
4.RGIII Redskins........he was a national caliber 400 hurdler at Baylor
5.Kyler Murray Cardinals
6.Colin Kaepernick Niners
7.Randall Cunningam Eagles
8.Marlon "Magician" Briscoe Broncos........did end up a Bills WR

Only RGIII has any track credentials I am aware of.

Trivia

He was a college QB but as a pro he was converted to RB he had a 1000 yards rushing as a rookie, who?

McCaffrey needs two more TD;s to join that 100 NFL TD list, he could get that next game.

He needs 110 receiving yards to have another 1000/1000 season, do doubt that which is a bummer.

What franchie compares to this...

QB;s

Joe Montana
Steve Young
YA Tittle

The above Hall of Famers

Add,,,,

Brock Purdy
John Brodie
Alex Smith
Jeff Garcia
Colin Kaepernick
Jim Plunkett
Jimmy G
Steve DeBerg

My man Mike Vick would have been the GOAT if the league and the Feds just let him play on a competent team.

Amazing talent, real bummer he was a Falcon, that totally sucked.

Where he came from fighting dogs was no big deal at all, yes I know it's wrong but not where he was raised.

Inspired by rookie cornerback Xavier Watts of the Falcons.

Night Train Lane

At three months old his hooker mom and her pimp had had enought of baby Dick Lane so they tossed him in a dumpster, his crying was heard by a passer by.

He grew up in Texas, joined the military and played some Negro League baseball. One day while in LA he passed the Rams facility, and the rest is history.

As a rookie cornerback he intercepted 14 passes in a 12 game season, in his first 35 NFL games he had 27 INTS. Yep, still records today and we are talking the 50's there.

The guy had a thing about this tune....

When he retired he was only behind the great Emlen Tunnell in INT;s, today he is 4th all time with 68.

Played one season of football at some JC.

Obviously a Hall of Famer.

The Steelers were the worst team in the NFL way back when pre 70's, but they did have John Henry Johnson (former Niner) a fullback who was known for his wicked forearm shiver, story goes he broke at least a dozen face masks with it, yep.....hmmmmm BS?

He was like Night Tran a very bad man, I can remember seeing him unload a few times on wanna be tacklers, he was a monster to tackle. Yep......Hall of Famer.

It was Jim Brown, Jim Taylor and John Henry Johnson all fullbacks. Seeing Brown and John Henry in the same backfield in the pro bowl, ouch~~~~~~~~~~

Later today Cowherd will rank his top 10 NFL teams as of right now, so far he hasn't given the Niners much respect, curious where he has them now. Gotta be in the top 3.

Guessing

Seattle
Pats
Niners
Broncos

His top 4

While here...

As of right now Brock Purdy has these career numbers....

comp% 67.9
TD/INT...84/36
passer rating 104.8

That is as good as it gets for a guy in just his 4th season. And he has a pro bowl and Superbowl.

Looking at his Iowa State numbers, 67.7 and 81/33 with a gaudy 151 passer rating, yep....4 seasons. Why he wasn't taken earlier? Hell, almost 1200 rushing yards.

6-1 shouldn't be too short.
