Hello you horrible lot.

Taking the kids to Orlando for all the expensive shit kids think is great.

Going to stay in Haines City in a large family Villa as I refuse to stay in Hotels.

Whats it like for English people out there to walk about finding food and just browsing about?
Anything to be aware of?

Also, got family that live in Savannah, wondering what's a good central point to meet them at?

Hope your all doing OK.

You're English and you're writing "your" instead of "you're?"

Was in Orlando sun-mon this week. International drive has TONS of food places. Pick your poison.

Haines City is one of safest places in Polk County.

Florida is a transient State. A good deal aren't from here, continental and international.

If you go to Savannah, there's Vic's On the River, on River Street. Best ribeye I've had from a restaurant.

I can hardly type on a phone, auto corrected most of the words, it gets worse as I get older.

You'll do fine in Florida, the law designated protesters are nothing but soft speed bumps.

Remember "Stand Your Ground" means open season on any thief, robber, carjacker, etc.

That area of fl is almost entirely visitors. Everything feels like its a theme park, from the restaurants to the bars to the roads. From a floridians perspective it isn't really FL, just florida packaged to tourists. You should be safe and good. One piece of advice is to leave earlier than you'd imagine when driving places. Traffic is obscene and its easy to get lost so chart out your route before leaving.

Favorite place in Florida is the Redneck Riviera. Pensecola to Panama . South Florida ........... <DisgustingHHH>

Between Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World your kids will have a blast at the pains of your pocketbook haha. All these three are great for different reasons. Universal has the roller coasters if your kids are older. Disney has some incredible things like the Star Wars and Avatar areas that are amazing. SeaWorld is also something that's hard to miss because you can sit and splash zones and see the animals up close which is a little surreal. Orlando parks are all as expensive as it is it really is a child's Paradise.

Definitely recommend getting some fast passes. You will be amazed at how long the lines can be just room after room after room of back and forth. If you're going there for the week obviously the weekends are going to be the craziest.

I believe Disney still lets you bring food in as long as it's not in glass. That can be a great way to bring your own snacks particularly you guys being from the UK If you prefer a particular something.

The heat is rough... really rough....so get out there early for any parks.

Also Daytona Beach is only about an hour to an hour and a half away from Orlando if you guys wanted a beach day.

If you mean walking about just strolling Orlando it's probably not that great unless it's changed since the last time I was there. Most southern cities are going to be very hot during this time of year and usually too spread out with too little public transportation

Either way, enjoy the time bud. Let us know how it goes. There's plenty of locals in here that probably can give you better info than me. But thats all I've got. Cheers.
