Nerds have always been the real bullies. As we all saw in the 1984 documentary on nerds and what happens when they rise to power, one of the first things one of them did was commit rape through deception. They're not good people.

It's not about being submissive. Being an asshole or a bully is going out of the normal behavior zone to be awful to others. Being a nerd is being in the normal behavior zone and going out of their way for some sort of a subject in terms of knowledge and engagement.
