Any recommendations on how to fight multiple people? and by multiple i mean around 3-5.

bust out some bruce lee. or you could use a knife. or a pole or even a gun ..be creative :D other then that..you'd lose with a broken nose..and wake up with sore balls :(

go nuts on one guy at a time

just go nuts and throw lethal fast shots then continue to the next guy

that's the advice i heard from some guy in the military. it somehow works better then trying to fight them all at once. iono

if you focus on one guy....theres a chance one of them will try to take you down thus making it easier for them to GnP you.

I have been in some fights with multiple opponents and one of them they had us outnumberd in such a matter it meant something. I then slammed a guy int oa wall and put achoke on him and threatend the others that I would break his neck. I stood with my back agaisnt a wall so they couldn't get to me. Me and my mates then walked backwardds toward a pub and let the guy go while we went inside.

But as far as any advise? Talk thetalk and see if they walk the walk aka question their manhood and see if they can stand up to you one o one? And never go to the ground with other opponenets around!

the first guy that approaches you, high kick to the neck then looked at them with a crazed look. the other guys are sure to back off.

there isnt any trick that will help you fight more then 1 guy. only your own speed and power will help you. you need to take each one out quickly before they gang up on you.

Shit your pants and rub it all over your self.

Man his whole thing about attacking hard and fast will get your ass handed to you pronto. (If the attackers are FULLY commited, that means there hell-bent on beating the living crap outta you) If you dont have the proper conditioning (chin, punching power, skill, technique) dont even bother trying to engage. Unless you take krav magra. Which in that case, hope you have a good time with all the medical bills for gouging peoples eyes and slamming their necks lmao.

And never believe it when TMA instructors say that their art will alllow you to defend against multiple opponents. Theres no science to taking on 3-5 people. Too much shit is going on for you to do as they do in the movies and punch one guy exactly at the right time, and then duck a punch exactly at the right time. IF your hardcore enuf you will win. By hardcore i mean iron jaw, flawless technique, and raw power. Basically Fedor lol. Or sneaky enuf, like you just happen to have a knife on you or just happen to catch one of their buddies with a nasty elbow, thatd be pretty intense.

Krav Maga and a lot of the "combatives" martial arts are no better than many of the MA you see in MMA out there right now. It will not make you be able to take on multiple opponents even with eye gouges and all that.

That was a joke hence the lmao. I guess sarcasism doesnt translate well over text hahha. But ya, as you said, kravman is no better than shotoman or gojuman or any of those. In fact, the BEST tool for self defense is your brain. If your not wise to the situation, no amount of badassness will save you. I think we can all agree on that. :D

It is better because they train those situations. You're always gonna be better off if you atleast have some gameplan than if you are in a situation for the very first time. Its actually pretty clever because almost all of Krav Maga is based on a few combatives that are drilled over and over and over again and translate quite well into a 2 v 1.

The first time we did 2 on 1 type fighting in my Krav Maga class it all clicked as to why a lot of things are done the way they are. A lot of common sense and using techniques that we've already done hundreds of times, so its more easily applied. While its still a better option to run, if you can't atleast Krav gives you some experience and a gameplan going into it.

Also a street fight isn't like an MMA fight. Look at what happened after Coleman Shogun. Some of the worlds best fighters throwing big loopy haymakers and running full speed in a straight line towards each other. A krav maga dude would probably lose against a decent kickboxer in the ring 4 out of 5 times. But in the street with adrenaline flowing and a real fear for your safety or a real intention to kill someone, things are a bit differnet IMO. The very basic techniques and the stress drills in Krav Maga are very effective for what they are designed.

try talk your way out if it first, if that doesnt work, go straight for the leader of the group...usually once they see the 'leader' fall, all their heart will fail, u gotta remember that they are also people, not killing machines, and will get scared just as easily as you will, but running is also good
