One thing I always notice with Jim Miller is how hunched his back is. I notice the same with Diego Sanchez. They look so unnatural and slow throwing strikes. Miller has found a way to make it work, but Diego looks like he's throwing punches under water most of the time. Anyone know why they look so hunched and examples of other fighters?

Miller was actually countering pretty quick and with some power in the first before he got hurt. Not to mention, cowboy had a decent reach advantage.

Goes without saying but BJ Penn's stance in his last fight was just dreadful.

Yeah, Miller has good striking and movement. However, he has that hunched over look all the time. It really sticks out to me.

Mousasi, G-Sot, and Healy are all great answers. I'm not sure I ever thought of Penn has having bad posture, but I can see it from the pictures.

Let's just pretend that BJ Penn fight never happened.

It's only one example, but Mike Brown got KTFO by Siler for coming in with ridiculously bad posture, it was like he thought it was a wrestling match lol BOOM uppercut.

Leslie Smith has a real hunchback thing going on.

mousasi's kyphosis is insane. not sure if it's genetic or from holding that muay thai stance all day.
