Cody Durden impressed the hell out of me. Most fighters would tap to that armbar. In recent memory, Brener vs Guram was a dog fight. Hooker vs Turner as well. Hooker's mental toughness is something else. Pantoja vs Moreno was incredible.

I was starting to give up on Hooker but he's proved that he does indeed have that Dawg in eem.

you still have guys who are blood n guts fighters, either because that's the only way they can win or because that's just part of their personality but in general you're right. i think Du Plessis has proven he's not a point fighter.

i don't know if that's true, but even if he loses to Adesanya it doesn't mean anything. in his past fights we can already see he's been in back and forth battles more than once, has finished nearly everyone he's fought in the UFC, and has overcome adversity before in fights to win.
