I have been looking for fight gyms in and around the sf/penninsula. I was wondering if FSA is still open, i stopped by the south city location and they were closed and i stopped by the millbrae location 1605 el camino and it looks like its just an empty space. Does nebody know if they are still open? Also I was wondering if neone has heard anything about the bushido fight team on 42nd and vicente in the sunset. Any help is appreciated

are you looking for muay thai or boxing? There's a few threads for SF/peninsula for both if you search

FSA moved a while ago, so one of their addesses is wrong.

Fairtex is expensive, I think it's $199 a month all inclusive if you want to go month to month.

There are gyms all over SF. Fairtex, Fight & Fitness (Fairtex offshoot), Gracie Academy etc... there are some boxing gyms around as well.
I train at Fairtex, love it.

Now why would you call Fight & fitness and fairtex offshoot? How long have you been at Fairtex SF? Not too long I see for the disrespect. Bunkerd Faphimai is a great man and all the trainers at Fairtex SF still have great things to say about him. He was also the head trainer at Fairtex SF for a long time. He just a falling out with the management.

Offshoot is usually defined as: a natural consequence of development.

F&F could be considered an offshoot because of Bunkerd's time, reputation and following he developed at Fairtex. I don't think he meant any disrespect by it.

Fairtex is not $199, at most it's $150 and lower if you prepay for 6months or 12months. There are always student discounts as well as other discounts and specials so I'd recommend calling them or stopping by.
