And its about the two valets that stole Camerons dads car at the snooty restaurant
What the fuck? lol
Of all the ideas for a sequel/spinoff I could think of, this definitely wouldnt have been on the list
Fuck it, at least its not gonna just be the same old characters rehashed 30 years later, might be something "original" in their wacky, wild adventure

The creators of Netflix's Cobra Kai, Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald have been announced as the producers of Sam And Victor's Day Off, a Ferris Bueller's Day Off spin-off focusing on the two car valets who take Cameron's father's Ferrari for a joyride. The movie will be set on the same day as Ferris Bueller's Day Off and explore more about what the valets, who only had a few brief moments of screen time, got up to. While the announcement seems strange at first, it's the best possible way to bring the Ferris Bueller series back. Just like they have with Cobra Kai, the production team knows exactly how to tell the story of people who appear to be losers and who don't have the same sort of privilege as Ferris, which is exactly what Sam and Victor are.

The idea of focusing on the Ferris Bueller car valets is an exciting one. Sam and Victor, the previously unnamed garage attendants, injected a burst of energy into Ferris Bueller's Day Off as they were briefly shown enjoying a drive in the Ferrari. But exactly what they got up to is a mystery, as all the movie revealed was that the pair added over a hundred miles on to the expensive car, which winds up totaled by Cameron at the end of Ferris Bueller. The duo clearly enjoyed their joyride when they handed the keys back in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, so it'll be fun to see what the two got up to in the confirmed spin-off.

I had a friend who worked as a valet in his late teens/early twenties at some fancy restaurant in LA. He would say, anytime a Ferrari or some super nice car came in, they would take it for a quick joyride and punch the living hell out of it.

I have a childhood friend that was writing scripts in the 90s and 2000s. He interned at Wendy Finerman's production company (Forrest Gump) and with Arnold Kopelson (Platoon, Seven).

I asked him if he'd read any good scripts lately and he said, 'no, but they're doing a sequel to The Fugitive".

I'm like, "no fucking way. How does that work? Do they have Harrison Ford kill another wife?".

Friend: "no, the sequel is about Tommie lee Jones' character".

Yeah, wasn’t that called U.S. Marshals?

You tell the valet that you’ll park the car yourself and pay for the valet price. You can always throw them the keys when you are done with dinner to fetch your car for you but even then, I do not think you’d want somebody messing something up in that brief period.
