Now before I start, please save the semantics of defining specifically who you feel a secondary character on the show was. For the purposes of this thread it's anyone who's not Jerry, Elaine, George or Kramer.

I've come up with a top 3 that's just awesome. What do you think?

3. Jackie Childs.

Here's a list of some of the others in case you've forgotten. I wish I knew who won this bracket!

frank and estelle costanza and newman are obvious choices.

to be more interesting i'll go with mr. kruger.

I always liked the episode with Brett, the guy who sold the Karl farbman furniture

Impossible to pick between Frank Costanza and Newman. Their hilarity level is virtually identical.

The midget that hung out with Kramer. Fav main guy is George.

Puddy is great, but Frank Costanza is one of the greatest characters in TV history.

Frank Costanza has gotta be on the short list here- probably my favorite.

Newman was great too.

My top 10 would probably be

1- Frank Costanza- amazing comedic performance that basically put Stiller back on the map

2- J. Peterman- his delivery was always spot on. His best episode was, in my opinion, when George inexplicably gets caught up in Petermans life and reveals his PIN number to Petermans dying mother. But he has a ton of memorable moments- like when he refuses to let Kramer turn his office into a den of iniquity.

3- Morty Seinfeld- MY WALLETS GONE! MY WALLETS GONE!- for being an Irish catholic dude, that actor- Barney Martin (?) did a damn hilarious and convincing job as a retired Jewish Floridian. I feel almost everything he did on the show was funny. I thought. Jerry's parents were almost on par with Georges for overall hilarity.

4- Kruger- I was going to say he was underrated but clearly he's getting a lot of love here so maybe that perception was off and he is appreciated. Good. Again, such funny delivery. What a pear shaped loser.

5- Jackie Chiles- my friends and I still quote things like "the mans a goblin." And "sick, twisted freak." Seemed like he could be a very gimmicky character when first introduced, but he was played to perfection.

6- Mickey Abbott- a lot of funny moments from him. Particularly enjoyed when he flew off the handle at Kramer during the Flesh Wounds in Ithaca play scene (Kramer can't sit down due to the tight jeans). Also hilarious when he and Kramer can't decide which girl each will go for and they're in the restaurant looking like asshats as they jostle and grapple over which chair to sit in.

7- Newman- just a classic character though they started to ruin him toward the end when they made him overly philosophical/sensitive/wise. I absolutely love Newmans role on the one where Jerry is dating a girl who was dumped by Newman. Knight just plays that smugness to perfection.

8- Uncle Leo- he had a lot of great interactions with Jerry. One of my favorite moments of his though happens to be with Elaine. Elaine goes into the room at the Plaza after the Seinfelds and Uncle Leo ran up a huge bill. Uncle Leo just stares at her and says "They said they were sending an Asian woman..." Funny for Leo's general shadiness and the fact he doesn't even recognize Elaine whom he has presumably met many times.

9- Puddy- epic deadpan stuff from Warburton. His first two episodes were pure gold (Fusilli Jerry and the
Face Painter) so much so that they brought him back for the final season.

10- Estelle Costanza- she complemented Stiller very well.

Fun fact, the Cashier appeared in the 5th most episodes right after the main characters.

But Tom Whatley and Loyd Braun deserve some love.

Mine have been mentioned, but Jack klompus and his pen that writes upside down in space was pretty great, too.
