I left 2 more options in the poll for anymore suggestions. I'll include Godzilla Minus One although I personally dont consider it a horror movie, some do.

My favourite Horror movie in the 2020s is easily Smile 2.

Godzilla Minus One was great but its not horror so I aint gonna vote for it

Smile was amazing til they blew the finish with that stupid frickin' buffoon monster

The Menu was awesome but I dont know that I would call that horror either, although I guess I can see why you would

Black Phone was dope, so was Weapons

Final Destination Bloodlines was a fun gore filled popcorn flick

Sinners was alright and Barbarians fucking sucked

Gotta go with my man Art The Clown, though, he is the hot new thang in the slasher movie genre for good reason, he puts butts in seats with his evil, devilish carny ways

Terrifier 3 all day

I haven't seen any of them but Weapons looks interesting to me when it popped up in Netflix. Plus I like Brolin and Garner

A Silent Voice

Possessor 2020 maybe an option.. by David Cronenbergs son..
Brutal and very well done..

In the list above I would say Godzilla is a diamond against a lot of very average movies.

Enjoyed The Black Phone, The Substance, Weapons, Final D, Barbarian and the rest is basically trash.

Few more which were pretty cool.

In a Violent Nature
LongLegs
The Monkey
The First Omen
The Ugly Stepsister
Late Night with the Devil
Talk to Me
Nope
The Night House

The only one's I have seen are Weapons, Sinners, and The Menu, and I don't really think The Menu is a horror movie, and I struggle to consider Weapons one as well.

So Sinners it is.

I've only seen Smile, the Menu, 28 Years Later, the Black Phone, Barbarian and Final Destination on that list. I enjoyed Final Destination: Bloodlines the most, so that gets my vote.

In what world is Godzilla minus 1 a horror film?

Excluding that one, I’d rank the ones I’ve seen :

1-sinners
2-substance
3-terrifier 2
4-weapons
5-the menu
6-terrifier 3
7-alien Romulus
8-the black phone
9-final destination bloodlines
10-pearl
11-barbarian
12- smile 2
13-quiet place 2
14-x
15-smile

I have not seen last night in soho or 28years later yet

I voted for "28 years later" for the simple reason that it's the only one of that list that I've seen!!

Actually the opening few mins has one of the best scenes I've ever seen of a zombie genre movie ......the "country farmhouse" scene......

Late Night With The Devil and Talk to Me are glaring omissions, imo.

Its not classic or anything, but Infested is a super entertaining spider horror movie from...uh...Brazil? Forget where. But its fucking awesome and worth checking out.

From the list, I'd vote Weapons. But its the kind if movie that can be a letdown if you sit down to watch it and think youre just gonna be watching a straight horror movie.

I have only seen Black Phone, so it got my vote.

1.) Weapons
2.) The Substance
3.) Bring Her Back

watched none of the movies on that list, lol.
Same other than Romulus....but theres 1 or 2 I am def gonna get around to.

But after the 90s horror started to suck for me.

hold hold up

Godzilla minus one is a horror movie??? gtfoh

Thats like some action flick you can take your kids to.
