Falling Asleep During RAW Is Just A Part Of Watching RAW

I was struggling with this but now I have come to accept it. RAW is a long show full of good stuff and bad stuff. I'm awake during the first part of the show then sometime during the second hour I fall asleep in the chair. I wake up with about 40 minutes remaining to catch the main event and any other important crucial stuffs.

I can't imagine watching Raw live tbh. It's 2 hours for about 30 minutes of stuff I actually want to watch usually.

There was some ECW show I watched, I wanna say it was Hostile City Showdown '95 or '96 but i could be mistaken.

The show starts with the Eliminators, who are feuding with the Gangstas,who I believe they lost the belts to. They are pretty angry about it and cut a promo on them in the ring, and refuse to leave and let the show start. Then you hear the Gangsta's music hit, and they come to the ring to fight with the Eliminators. The whole locker room comes out to keep them apart until both teams leave.

A match starts with Supernova and some other jobber and immediatley the eliminators come back and destroy those jobbers and the gangstas come back and this time the fight is much longer and bloodier and any jobbers trying to seperate them get destroyed.

I never seen such hostile disregard for a formatted wrestling show ever. The crowd was whipped into a bloodthirsty frenzy by this.

I just like how they fucked with what you expect from a regular wrestling show so bad, there's no way you didnt stay awake for the whole show after seein some shit like that. Anything could happen.

Terry Funk fucked with a whole PPV, that shit was great. He was mad that Tommy Dreamer chose Jake Roberts to be his partner instead of him and he had to be thrown out of the arena, but then during a match he came out and put himself through a table lmao

I liked the fact that they gave us some Benoit, Jericho and Mysterio.

Well, it was a big variety of styles and matches, but also it depended too on who Sandman was facing. Sure no one would say he was their favorite in ring performer, but he sure was a real guy, a throwback in that sense, which is how him just coming to the ring and drinking beer made him a legend to those fans.

Being at those shows was like being at a rock concert. Alot of the stuff they did back then took hold with today's fans but as an OG, it falls flat. All these guys singing Seth Rollin's music seem like herbs to me.

Basically if you aint from that era in the 90's you just suck, that's the god honest truth.
