I watched this live last night and it was goddamn hilarious.

It's especially funny because Sinagoga(the fake glove toucher) was a 6-0 prospect coming off an absolute robbery and the guy who knocked him out was a 7-7 journeyman.

No, but it's still fucking stupid. On a real glove touch you don't get close enough together with the right kind of motion to gain an advantage off of a fake touch, so the fake is always telegraphed. Telegraphed fakes tend not to work out well against anything other than bottom level competition, and the fake glove touch also will usually kill any chance a fighter has of getting a follow-up fight that can improve their standing.

If you want to fight once and retire 1-0, sure, go ahead with the fake glove touch. Otherwise the fake touch is just marking yourself for a lot of pain and ridicule.
