Hey guys, this is a two part question..

Has anyone tried out the new KPLC's in the Fairtex Thai pad range?

KPLC2

* Dimensions of each pad:
* Large- Length 16" x Width 8" x Thick 2.75" Weight 2.75 lbs

KPLC3

* Large- Length 16" x Width 8" x Thick 2.75" Weight 3.65 lbs

Second part.

Im looking to try and decide on which size to get. I know the obvious that the 3's are thicker, but i like the extra padding for kicking and holding. I am not a Thai trainer, lol.. so i wont be holding these for 8 hrs a day, so looking for some info.

thanks.

The dimensions you listed are the same.

I would assume the KPLC3 is 3" think compared to the KPLC2 being 2.75" thick.

If the price is the same then get the thicker pad.

If they price difference is huge, the 2.75" thickness should be fine.

All our Thai Pads at the gym are 2.75" I belive and we've never had any problems.

I have my own pair of Boon Thai pads and they are 2.75" thick as well. They feel great.

We have the 2nd ones. I like them a lot actually. They are like bricks. They are good protection wise if you train with some good kickers. Weight wise they aren't too bad. I also have a pair of old school Title thai pads and those things are pretty heavy. After a while you won't even notice the weight.
