DISCLAIMER: Prior to owning this headgear, I have never used or even worn headgear. Consider this more of an unboxing review.

INTRO: So I purchased this headgear because I was scheduled to fight for a local promotion that was requiring fighters to supply their own headgear. I picked it up from fightgear.com for $40, around $53 shipped. It is currently still on sale there in a couple sizes/colors. If I could have afforded it, I would have gone with the Top Ten, but I needed something cheaper. I also don

I've heard Thai headguards are very stiff in general, possibly to do with the need to protect against knees and shins. I've only worn a Twins open face headguard and that was very stiff and uncomfortable. I'm wondering if this Fairtex has the same characteristic

nice review mate , ive worn both the twins and top kings ones as well .......they are hardcover text book dense
