It's on Netflix right now. It's a drama with Robert DeNiro, Kate Beckinsale and Drew Barrymore

If you haven't seen it, you should watch it. It's about a dad (Robert DeNiro) who made sacrifices raising his children, hoping they'd grow up to be successful. I don't want to ruin it if you decide to watch it.

It's one of the few movies that I watch every few years or so. It really sticks with me

Yep I liked it a lot. Very great movie about not missing out with your family.

You should check out Stanno Tutti Bene, the Marcello Mastroianni film on which it is based. Solid and sad movie in its own right. Not sure how similar the DeNiro one is cause I’ve yet to see it but I liked the Italian film quite a bit.

Will definitely check out ‘09 one soon.

You do the modern equivalent of going out for a pack of cigarettes or a carton of milk and never returning. Substitute "vape/vape refill" for the cigs' and an "energy drink" for the milk I suppose.
