ESPN's app SUUUUCKS - how has Dana not called them out on it?

The app sucks.

Just go to Twitter and search the millions upon millions of posts people have made who have incredibly fast internet, have no problem streaming other live TV content on other apps, yet for some reason the ESPN constantly buffers.... doesn't matter how popular the event is, doesn't matter the sport, doesn't matter whether it's Roku, Firestick, AppleTV etc...the ESPN app sucks on these devices and fights are completely unstreamable.

It's unreal that it's 2021 and ESPN's app sucks so bad. Literally, fans can't even watch the fights. Every event there's millions of people complaining.

Here I am with 200 Mbps speed, ESPN+ sub, can stream whatever I want in 4k....but I'm having to watch the ESPN fights on some shady link because they work better than ESPN's shitty app. Unreal. Sorry, just wanting to rant and let off some steam.

Yeah it's horrible

Works the majority of the time, but I've definitely had issues in the past

Makes me way less likely to buy a PPV when I know there's a chance it'll get fucked up and they'll pretend it never happened

Yea the app is pretty slow when navigating on my fire stick but once I get the fights playing I personally dont have any problems with it buffering

I've been using the Firestick for about 3 years now. Works PERFECTLY fine for every app EXCEPT the ESPN app. NFL Network, CBS sports, FOX, NBC, FS1, TNT, Twitch...any other live streaming content-based app has always worked and still works fine EXCEPT the ESPN app. It's purely an issue with ESPN's app developers making a shitty app on the Firestick.

Most sports channels apps suck asses. ESPN , The Score , TSN , etc. They all have a terrible interface and are laggy as fuck
