BBC iplayer gave done a 13 part documentary on the countries first legal Red Light District, it's about 10 minutes an episode.

I started watching because it's a 10 minute walk from my office and I'd heard rumours about it.

They did it as a trial to make it legal 7pm-7am to improve safety for the hookers with the idea being its legal for them to work so they're more likely to report crimes of violence against them.

All the girls in the doc are pretty gross heroin addicts, makes me wonder who's actually going down there and paying. Some of them seem like nice people who just made some mistakes or had bad things happen to them.

SammieJo is basically the star, she has some pet birds.

I think the idea is it keeps them all in one place instead of loitering all over the city.

I hate to sound racist, but yeah those pictures are what I think of when I think "English Whores." Ghettoizing them is a step in the right direction. What do you know about laying bricks?

Why haven't I heard about this!

Nothing like trashy needle chasing whores to give you a case of limp dick

At least our whores were born female, not every country can say that.

Theirs are probably still better though

It still works on a general level. Not everyone is savy enough to use the net/service, and if the usual riff raff were told to go to one area, they'll abide for a bit. Won't be a permanent solution though.

Isn't there an area in West Yorkshire, Leeds in the UK where it is legal? because they were getting attacked so they just said F it.

Plus it's an area full of CCTV.

Read the OP

Yup

Holbeck is in Leeds, so it's the one I heard about.

Yeah this is the place.

One of them did get murdered though.
