Prices have finally started to stabilize. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins goes more into detail in this article

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told reporters Tuesday morning that egg prices have dropped by nearly $2 since the Trump administration initiated its biosafety strategy for combatting H5N1 bird flu, which has decimated the poultry industry in recent months.

Turns out that, yeah…that’ll do it.

Inflation and gas were also down for good measure.

Promises made. Promises kept

lol did I not call it?
Seems like Trump is just continuing Bidens USDA policy:
To be fair, it is genuinely a continuation of Biden's policy. That is a valid statement HOWEVER, Trump did what he said and that is a great change of pace. Good on the president

lol did I not call it?

Right, admission on who was to blame for them being high in the first place despite all the arguing in the threads celebrating them being high lol

This card will be played when the Big Beautiful Bill passes, tariffs are adjusted to, and the economy and Wall Street starts humming again.

They’ll say “well, it’s Biden’s economy” even though they are already blowing their wad on a few bad days to give the economy entirely to Trump.

All it took was the president and his administration not ordering the genocide of millions of hens prior to the new president coming in

Hmm.

I hope they didn't risk yet worse avian flu epidemics for the sake of egg prices?

Culls to get rid of diseases are kinda commonly accepted.

Dunno enough about this developing story to know if a risk has been taken or not.
