Guys, this is not the joy I expected, I'm here to talk about the fight yesterday. Unfortunately, after more than two years as Bellator's bantamweight champion I was defeated and lost the title.
Joe Warren made a good fight, he used strategy in a effective way and is now the new champion. The loss, it's bitter, but I'm willing to fight to regain the title. I was the first Brazilian champion of the event, was also the first to lose the belt, but I will also be the first to win it back. So if the organization give me the opportunity, I want to fight again against Joe Warren. I want a rematch!
In the cage, I gave what I expected. I gave my maximum, but not my best. I'm sad, but the willingness to learn from defeat is greater than the sadness, and that's what's going to happen. I learn a lot each time in which I was defeated, and now will be no different.
I'm reading a lot of people talking about the illegal kick in the final round, but that had nothing to do with the outcome of the fight. He won on his merits.
I want to thank God for giving me a health during my camp, for blessing me to do what I love most. Thanks also to my fellow Nova Uni
