Are there any ways I can replace the aspirin portion of my stack? As I see it the only option for me right now is to cut it out entirely. I have a bad stomach, perhaps ulcers, frequent heartburn, known family history of ulcers(both my grandfather and his father had ulcers, my great grandfather died of a ruptured intestine due to an ulcer, and my grandfather lived through a similar problem, only to die a month later). So, I'd like to prolong the metabolic effects with something that isn't as digestive harmful, if possible. Thanks.

try the enteric coated aspirin....it is much easier on the stomach...as it breaks down in the lower intenstine...also trying smaller dosages like 81mg may help....many stores sell 'baby aspirin' that are enterically coated....ie 81mg enterically coated aspirins...

ibuprofen, excedrin, aleve may be substitutes...not sure...ask doctor or someone knowledgeable in this...

You mean you guys aren't doctors? I thought . . . damn it.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately it looks like people with stomach ulcers might want to avoid that as well as some research suggest they should.

I think I'm going to give it a go with the baby aspirin and if my stomach suffers at all, I'll go without it.

Can someone provide a link to ECA stack basics etc, might run one sometime after my current goings on.

If I remember correctly, somebody posted a great write-up on how the ECA stack works taking everything from looking up the three individual ingredients on wikipedia. I'm also pretty sure there is a separate ECA stack article. Try that first, if I remember correctly it was written very well and was quite informative.

If I remember correctly, if I remember correctly...pretty sure...aren't scientists supposed to find out things FOR CERTAIN?

I don't like to say things unless I'm sure they are correct. For example, I feel 100% comfortable calling you an ass. Hell, I'll even cite my source.

One can't argue with the studies. I am indeed an asshole, that much is for certain.

Hey all,

I'm creating my first ECA stack but had a few questions. Today at a local gas station I found "Ephedrine Plus" which basically looks to be Vasopro, it contains 25mg of Ephedrine HCL and 200mg of Guaifenesin.

For the "CA" I've got Pain Away's which contain the following:

Acetaminophen - 110mg
Salicylamide - 152mg
Aspirin - 162mg
Caffeine - 32.4mg

Will this suffice for the "CA" or do I need to get straight Aspirin and Caffeine?

Thanks in advance!

Seems like very little caffeine there. I'd say just go buy some caffeine and asa separately, they're both cheap.

I'd lose the guaifenesin. Check post #53: here.

The caffeine is way too low, and you don't need acetaminophen, and I have no idea why a product would contain both Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) and salicylamide, since the latter is just a derivative of ASA.

If you're just looking for a preWO stimulant, I'd go with just caffeine and ephedrine. You may have more luck with finding plain, generic pseudoephedrine without additives, which is what I prefer over ephedrine.

Thanks guys. Do you know of an Ephedrine supplement that doesn't contain Guaifenesin? Vasopro was highly recommended on here, and that has the same dosage.

Anyone know where you can get straight caffeine pills?

Any truck stop, gas station, pharmacy, etc. I'm sure they sell them at Walmart. I'm pretty sure that's where I got my NoDoz from (200mg caffeine)

Straight caffeine is easy to come by, as Lubaolong stated.

I'm not sure on the ephedrine laws in the US, but ephedrine HCL is available in Canada in 8mg dosages; you can also buy 100mg tabs of Ma Huang, which is equivalent to roughly 8mg of ephedrine.

You could also look for pseudoephedrine, a common decongestant that's similar to ephedrine. Personally, I find it more subtle, yet I still get a kick from it. I have to ask for it at the pharmacy, since it's stored behind the counter.
