Intredasting. Sean and Eblen always train together if theyre in each other's city. Eblen seemed confident here and Sean always goes hard in sparring so its not like theyre having pitter patter touchbutt fights.

Eblen earlier in the interview said he feels comfortable saying hes a top 3 MW in the world w/ Sean and Izzy and on any given night either of them could beat the other.

I'd bet the farm on Eblen if he and Strickland fought. I have thought for a while Eblen would beat Izzy and Pereira, while maybe having a tough go vs Whittaker. Eblen's the best 185er in the world.

After how Sean Izzy went I tend to agree.... Rob is a very tough style matchup for Eblen tho maybe toughest in division. Cannonier not easy either.

Eblen is athletic & talented as hell, though his striking defense worries me at times. It's also been ages since anyone has convincingly outwrestled Sean. I could see it going either way, honestly.
Skill wise I don't think he's ultra talented, but he's tough and as you said athletic and seems like a natural fighter, these things can take you along way in this sport

Strickland beats him in a real fight

Sean's style works better in 4oz gloves and no headgear

Dan Henderson was knowing for sucking in sparring; Lindland and Couture used to dominate him at TQ, but Hendo had a better career than both.

Not "ultra-talented" all-around, no, but I think he's quite a talented wrestler especially by modern Middleweight standards. YMMV.

Intredasting.?

Hes a bad motherfucker for sure. Would love to see him fight Romero if Bellator sticks around. If not, I can see him being champ in the UFC.

I'd pick Eblen. Strickland is the ultimate overperformer.

Dans style works 10x more when he can go blood and bones and hit 100% power

Mineev beats him comfortably imo. Can't hold that dude down and he's miles better on the feet.

And uh he's in uh Bellator.
Nobody wins the UFC belt and then we hear people say "but could he beat the Bellator or PFL champion?"
