Agree with all, even Tony vs Conor but only because Tony deserves the payday...otherwise today's version of Tony wouldn't be competitive even against post-injury Contard
 
Anything with Conor involved makes this very un-easy
 
UFC knows Islam will be king. They'll give him the shot 1st because an extra title defence is better for marketability than giving Gaethje a shot 1st just for him to lose it next fight.
 
After 2 straight losses, Chandler needs a step down in competition. RDA would be a good opponent. He’s ranked right below Chandler and both are in a similar boat: slightly past prime fighters who are still competitive.

Tony should fight either McGregor or Nate @ WW.

I think Islam vs. Gaethje would be more exciting if it were for the LW title. Let Gaethje have the winner of Olivera/Porier. Islam and Dariush can fight for the next title shot.

Chandler vs. Dariush doesn't really work imo, Chandler is gonna need some time off after that war and Dariush should probably be fighting sometime around the new year.

I kind of hate the fights that pit two guys on losing streaks against each other. Like Conor vs Tony sounds like a lot of fun but then either Tony is on a four-fight skid or Conor is on three. I feel like guys who have lost a couple in a row should fight down the rankings

They know Islam will be king and they hate that boring reality. They will give Gaethje his shot first because his fights are interesting, and it will be nice to have an oasis before a long, dry desert.

spot on, was still hoping the t-word got thrown in (tournament) or at least like UFC 146...all of one weight division... what an event it could be for LW and then winners and losers each go their own direction...

I need Gaethe vs Chandler II. That was such a great fight, we need another.

Tony vs Connor is a fun fight, but I don't think the UFC will shell out Connor money for the Fergie Ferg. He's on a losing streak where he hasn't looked particularly well. Love the Hooker vs RDA fight. If Hooker KOs RDA, he should be next for the title.

Islam needs 2-3 more fights before he gets the title shot. He's young and arrogant, has incredible boxing and grappling. He's the hair lipped cousin of Khabid.

Timeline and ranking matter. Oliveira vs Poirier, 1 vs 2 in Dec. Gaethje next, as he's 3, in spring. Dariush vs Islam, 4 vs 5. Winner gets title shot next summer. Then Conor comes back, I'd match him up vs Chandler or Tony. RDA vs Hooker, 7 vs 9.

What is this delusion that fighting someone with a name gets your a new contract? Its only true if you get PPV points or if its someone like Diaz or Masvidal who is a draw himself. Tony gets paid the same if he fights Conor since they dont need him, he isnt a draw and doesnt have a belt.

Nothing except surprise me. That was one of those fights I'll always remember like Griffen vs Bonnar. I knew it was going to be a barn burner and it lived up to the hype. The surprise was those two animals went to a decision. Need more rounds of that battle.

As much as I'd love to hate Conor, I agree. Tony is too fucking hittable. Tony at his absolute best would've gotten walloped by McGregor.

Anyway, give Gaethje the shot. He had 3 FOTY caliber fights upon entering the UFC. He has history with Dustin, and Oliveira vs Gaethje is just an all action fight. Islam vs Dariush, Chandler vs Ferg. McGregor can stay gone though. I dont care to see him in the cage anymore
