Social Dutch police clash with anti-immigration protesters in The Hague

Thirty arrests made and two officers injured as teargas and water cannon deployed against violent protesters

Dutch police have used teargas and a water cannon to disperse violent anti-immigration protesters in The Hague on Saturday, a local government spokesperson has said.

Thirty people have been arrested and two police officers were injured. Authorities did not rule out additional arrests in the coming days as they review camera footage.

Thousands of people joined a protest organised by a rightwing activist demanding stricter immigration policies and a clampdown on asylum seekers, just more than a month before a national election.

Large groups of protesters, many waving Dutch flags and flags associated with far-right groups, clashed violently with the police, throwing rocks and bottles, footage from broadcaster NOS showed.

A police car was set on fire and a group of protesters briefly blocked a highway near the site of the demonstration.

Local media reported that protesters also smashed several windows at the headquarters of the centre-left D66 party.

“Scum. You keep your hands off political parties,” the D66 party’s leader, Rob Jetten, wrote on X. “If you think you can intimidate us, tough luck. We will never let extremist rioters take our beautiful country away.”

A smaller group of rioters headed for the Dutch parliament complex, which is fenced off as it undergoes renovation.

Geert Wilders, the anti-migration populist politician who won the previous election in the Netherlands, was invited to speak at the demonstration but did not attend.

Instead Wilders, who has retained his lead in opinion polls in the lead-in to the 29 October vote, condemned the violence on X, saying the use of force against police was “utterly unacceptable”, and calling those involved “idiots” and “scum”.

The videos of this were pretty intense. Cops with night sticks and riot shields clashing with young Dutch with flag poles and rocks. Theres a part where 5 or so cops are losing to 10 or so protesters then a cop van comes crashing in to the protesters.

A vast majority of people in these riots are hooligans from different Dutch football firms. They united over this common cause.

Some are working, learning and actually supporting society and feeding gubbermint.
Some does create very huge expenses if they are aggressive, criminals - fraudsters etc...

I want to see Germans RAUS too here, why not.

Far right does support very rich oligarchs, large banks and large insurance companies.

So you might except pension reforms for local also with pension age rised up and calculation methods improved etc, lesser expenses on local plebs voters and taxpayers and tax cuts for very large corporations and banks. Also ofc expenses for healthcare and education for local voters plebs might be reduced because ....

Real Dutch taxpayers needs far right not more than plague in real life.
1. Tax cuts for large corporations.
2. Pensions calculation system reforms for long term taxpayers - citizens.
3. Advocates to increase retirement age.
4. Education system financing reforms.
5. Sick leave payments for taxpayers reforms.

It is just beginning form xx variables.

While easier solution might be to kick out aggressive immigrants and use usable immigrants if they doesn't makes problems.

Probably improvements in deportation laws for aggressive offenders etc.

These are mostly football hooligans, but the sentiment against mass-immigration is widespread in our entire society these days. It's not even limited to just white people, many people with immigrant background themselves are sick of it.

And the people who say they still support it have been protesting when one gets planned for their neighborhood.

It's the most important topic of our upcoming elections for sure.

One from my relatives does have their ( NL ) citizenship.
Normally if you aren't lazy, might naturalize too. Not only bark that language is peace of s**,** and instead to learn and not be lazy and cocky sheep.
