Hey guys. I just bought a Pro Mex Double End Bag. Unfortunately the room I need to install it in has high ceilings. Anybody have any ideas or instructions on how to set it up? Thanks guys.

Perfect. You think it'll leave enough room from the wall to circle around the double end bag? Also, for the floor should I use an anchor? Thank you for the help.

for the floor you can do something like this, that way you can move it out of the way, etc

Ive seen all sorts of stuff for anchors, gixxs pic is one example of one. At our gym we used something very similar: kettle bells.

As far as the arm depending on ur wall setup, you should at the very least be able to do a 180 degree work around. That should be plenty!

Clever idea. It can be used for kettle exercises in my park workout. It's easier to carry and less obtrusive than the Title anchor I used.

Mixed reviews? I saw some on amazon all good except one cuz some idiot hung a 70 lb bag from it! Its a double end bag hangar!!! Not a heavy bag.

To be honest i have no experience with any other. Maybe get with wes and see if there is a better version? Fighting sports maybe makes one? I know there is a title plat version but its 325 dollars.

The one u linked looks good but vs the title, looks like the title offers more support but im just looking based on the pic. I would get with wes, see if hes got some suggestions.

Haha I just read that guy's review. What a dumbass haha. I think I will probably go with that Title now. Do you own the Title mount as well? Also, do you think the length of the mount is enough?

Yeah i mean its title made, looks similar, slightly longer. If it were me id pull the trigger but i dont have experience with it.

As far as the reg title one goes we had one in my old gym worked great. Even against the new guys that treated the double end like it was a heavy bag.

a kettlebell, that is fucking genius.

Can't believe I didn't think of that

Yea the kettlebell idea is awesome. I just ordered the fighting 28 In. wall hanger and a couple S-hooks. Figure Ill pick up some 40 inch bungee cords from Home Depot. You guys think that size is right. (Im Six ft.) Thanks for the help dudes

I have the fighting sports 28" wall mount hanger and I love it. I think its 34.99 on the title website.

I used to hang my double end bag in a room with a high ceiling. For the Superior support I used a Monster Mini Jump Stretch Band with a cut to make it a straight piece of rubber. As for the inferior support I used a trucker black rubber band you get a home depot attached recessed/flush floor ring.

How is the bag? Is it made in china or Pakistan? Can you take some pics?

I am debating getting the promex or the promex tear drop double end bag.

Goto your local sporting goods store to get 2 carabiners, 1 small for the hook up on top and 1 large to hook up to the kettlebell for an easy on, easy off without the worry of it sliding off and whipping you in the face. I have this crazy fear of S-hooks lol. I never trust them.

a shop rag and duct tape make S-hooks safe for gloves...you can even use it as a body target.
