  • Says he's advanced his skills as a martial artist with a year off from competing.
  • Mentions he felt new emotions from his first loss, and worked tirelessly since.
  • Normally he doesn't watch losing performances, but he has watched his Cub Swanson loss at least 100 times, in order to dissect every single aspect of his performance to improve his craft.
  • Had a minor Shoulder injury mid-2017 so he wanted to rehab/Physical therapy for the remainder of the year to make sure he was in top shape.
  • Happy he's getting a fan-friendly matchup with Stephens, feels he shows his best skills in the cage, not just the gym. Misses that feeling of pressure/competition.
  • Isn't worried about spending 2 years in military service in the start of 2019. Says he's trained with the Korean Zombie and has felt that KZ has come back a better athlete and more complete martial artist after the service. Says he will spend that time to train as much as he can to become a better MMA fighter.

Fuck Korean military service to be honest...

Can't wait for his fight with Stephens , I hope he shows Jeremy who the heaviest hitter @ FW really is .

This ought to be another awesome fight of the night ....

post obligatory *let em bang bros gif *

that lose was probably the best thing that happened to him, the dude is talented but he started to get cocky AF and that shit makes you complacent

Well some of us have to be conscripted. Technically his country is still at war.

The fight's available for free as well. I'm watching again.

I watched because I’m invested into the fight game.

You stayed cuz you can’t stop touching yourself at night.

I like this kid he has heavy hands, I see potential in him but he's a bit too inactive.

he's gonna waste 2 years of his prime fighting career on the fucking army ffs, especially for a top athlete like him

I know it's a small sample size but the korean fighters that have fulfilled their military duty I don't think came back any better for it.
