Dog people that dislike cats..

There is this hatred or anti-cat attitude among some dog people that is a little odd to me. I think lot of it is learned behavior from other cat-haters or an off experience with one cat or another.
Or maybe because Cats insist upon owning their own consent and dogs let you decide for them? I'm just spitballing here lol

I think most cats are so gentle and playful, even the aggressive ones can have a nice side. They probably have been abused or the people just don’t respect their boundaries.

I couldn't not, they're such lovely women who look after them. When I go in to bring food I'm always asked if I want to go in and I can't because I want all of them to come home with me.

I always used to act like I hated them, it was just an excuse to not get near them because I’m allergic lol. I’ve lightened up since and even let my daughter get a cat a couple times. For some reason they always get attached to me… no cats currently and I’m fine with that

Husband is actually allergic. He didn't know it was tabby cats, he was fine with my black cat before. I have to clean a ton of their hair.

You can't save them all. I had to stop pulling in strays because I couldn't take care of them to my standards. I buy dogs, because of the risks. Had some bad experiences with rescued dogs, all cats are strays. There is a spay/neuter clinic in town that does free or low cost services and they are a worthy donation

My outdoor "momma cat" as I call her I feed and water a couple of times a day and her kittens have just stopped showing up so I am so sad for her. She's at my door with the weather not being terrible just to chill out but gosh knows emotionally how she is being they're gone. I want her desperately to be loved in our home and treated like part of the family.
